City threatens action if fraternities move off-campus

As the Spring semester ends many fraternities occupying on-campus dormitory space are preparing not to return to campus housing. This has been caused in part by changes to Res Life policy that have increased fraternities' difficulty in filling campus units.

Sharpe Scholar study finds students and city residents build social capital through interaction, discussion of three person rule

The Sharpe Scholars program at William and Mary has focused on relations between student and the City of Williamsburg in the past. This year one group of Sharpe Scholars, the Citizenship and Community Sharpe Group, conducted a study in which students, non-student residents of Williamsburg, and landowners discussed the much-contested three person rule.

BOV votes to raise tuition and fees, appoints new Rector

The College of William and Mary's Board of Visitors voted to raise tuition and fees for both in-state and out-of-state students last week at its April meeting, at which it also chose Henry C. Wolf ('64 J.D. '66) as Rector. In-state undergraduate students will see tuition, fees, room, and board rise by 5.

Steer Clear van crashes on Griffin Street

Friday night lights: on April 17 the Steer Clear van crashed into a parked car on Griffin street near campus. According Steer Clear's Assistant Director for Administration Katherine Eklund , there was no damage to the van and slight damage to the other vehicle.

The Year in Review
