Brittany Lane is a senior from Houston, TX majoring in International Relations. Last year, she was the Senior Features Editor for The Virginia Informer and is now the editor for the Informer’s first ever Sports Section! Brittany is captain of the women’s soccer team, philanthropy chair of Pi Beta Phi Sorority and a volunteer with CPK. This past summer, she spent a month studying abroad in South Africa during the 2010 FIFA World Cup, attended two games in Cape Town, and had the best time of her life. She’s looking for any excuse to go back. Other than sports, she also loves elephants, Colorado, sleeping outside, traveling, chai lattes, foreign languages and foreign food.
